About the Role
The GenAI & Agentic Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and scaling practical GenAI and agentic AI solutions to address significant business challenges within Aviso and the broader wealth management sector. This role translates business opportunities into secure, usable, and measurable AI experiences, including conversational AI, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent knowledge experiences, and tool-integrated agentic workflows. The position operates primarily within Databricks and AWS, with support for Azure environments, guiding solutions from discovery through to production delivery.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and domain teams to translate priority opportunities into clear GenAI and agentic solution designs, user journeys, success measures, and delivery plans.
- Design and build conversational AI, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent knowledge experiences, and agentic workflows that improve service, productivity, and decision-making.
- Develop trusted retrieval and grounding patterns using enterprise content, knowledge, and data.
- Build secure integrations between AI solutions, business applications, enterprise data, APIs, and tools, including human-in-the-loop review, escalation, and approval patterns where appropriate.
- Improve prompts, context strategies, tool selection, workflow logic, and user experiences to increase solution quality, reliability, and usefulness.
- Define and apply evaluation, testing, and feedback approaches to measure solution quality, safety, business value, and user outcomes.
- Partner with AI Platform & ML Engineering to move solutions through approved production pathways using established deployment, observability, security, and governance standards.
- Continuously assess emerging GenAI, agentic AI, and related platform capabilities; translate relevant trends into practical recommendations, proof-of-value opportunities, and reusable solution patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field with equivalent hands-on experience building data, AI, software, platform or cloud engineering solutions.
