About the Role
Guy Carpenter's Corporate FP&A team is seeking a Senior Manager to support the global business, an industry leader in Reinsurance, Strategic Advisory and Analytics. This role involves collaborating with management and business leaders to drive strategic objectives through financial reporting and analysis, offering an in-depth view of the business and exposure to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver consolidated reports, presentations, and communications to management for decision support.
- Create financial models, driver-based sensitivities, and analysis for investment rationale and alternative scenarios.
- Analyze monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Play a critical role in the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning process.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis with value-added commentary.
- Build strong partnerships with management, business partners, and regional finance teammates.
- Effectively communicate financial results to all stakeholders.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of revenue drivers, growth sources, and business trends.
- Participate in ad-hoc analysis to enable strategic decision-making.
- Promote and foster a positive work environment that encourages efficiency, professionalism, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting a line of business.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a general ledger and query systems (Oracle Financials and SmartView preferred).
- Experience with financial statements and chart of accounts.
