About the Role
The Sales Associate (SA) role is designed to train future sales talent through a structured development pathway. You will gain knowledge of technology, modern sales techniques, Computacenter's customer base, and product/service sales. The Professional IT Sales Development Program provides the knowledge, network, and capabilities for success as an Account Manager, balancing technical and sales training with hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
- Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.
- Participate in 12-months of classroom training at our Norcross offices covering the Computacenter portfolio, sales methodologies, and IT fundamentals.
- Obtain 12-months of satisfactory on-the-job-experience in key sales hubs and via customer deployments.
- Participate in in-depth training on technology, pitching, and presenting Computacenter’s products and services.
- Engage with an experienced mentor and coach for guidance throughout the program and career.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Previous sales experience and/or sales internship required.
- Avid interest in technology and sales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Keen sense of autonomy but also the ability to work well with a team.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- A desire to succeed.
- Comfortable working with numerical data.
