About the Role

The CDL Driver - Hazmat is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations. Drivers are essential partners in delivering reliability, trust, and a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record.
• Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe and on-time deliveries.
• Load, unload, and organize orders while ensuring products are secured and hazardous materials are separated.
• Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
• Verify purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory.
• Support job site safety by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
• Document deliveries with photos as required by company policy.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HAZMAT Endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Completion of FMCSA Registration.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Clean driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI in the last 18 months.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills for recording deliveries and tracking inventory.
• Must meet DOT medical certification standards.
