About the Role
This position analyzes data to report customer, product, and sales organization information, managing the accuracy of sales reporting and supporting systems. The role ensures master data hierarchies reflect business requirements and coordinates with other departments to maintain accurate and timely master data.
Responsibilities
- Manage organization realignments and restructures in conjunction with Sales Performance Analysts.
- Ensure master data accurately reflects organizational changes and manage the timing of these changes.
- Analyze internal stakeholder product reporting requirements and make recommendations for product hierarchy structure and definitions.
- Execute recommendations for product hierarchy structure and definitions.
- Ensure master data accuracy through proactive audits and resolve any issues.
- Ensure the accuracy of the customer master, sales organization hierarchy, and product hierarchy for sales reporting.
- Analyze new customers and new products and determine appropriate placement and attribute categorization.
- Resolve and/or facilitate resolution with IT and other key players, identifying root causes to prevent re-occurrence.
- Communicate material changes to master data structures to internal stakeholders.
- Manage Pulse security, assessing requests for validity, completing security forms, and conducting audits.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and updates to the USD Sales Maps.
- Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures and suggest improvements.
- Provide ad-hoc master data reports to Management and other internal customers.
- Maintain territory alignment requests and ensure timely processing of changes.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to teammates and support management initiatives.
- Remain current on developments in field of expertise.
- Stay current with latest software and technology advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a data/sales analyst or equivalent.
- Previous related experience in a medical device company or relevant experience in a sales organization.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to converse effectively with all levels of employees.
- Demonstrated personal computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Business Objects.
