About the Role
Capital One is seeking a detail-oriented, innovative, and confident Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to an executive and their team. Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional standard of support for the executive, serving as a gatekeeper and central point of contact.
- Manage daily calendars, adjusting and prioritizing schedules based on last-minute changes.
- Arrange meetings and team events, including creating invitations, reserving rooms, and organizing catering and A/V services.
- Answer incoming calls and provide support by taking detailed messages.
- Organize travel arrangements and create expense reports using Capital One systems.
- Serve as a role model for administrative professionals by mentoring others and maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Manage multiple projects, take on new responsibilities, provide autonomous solutions, and handle novel issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of Administrative experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite
- At least 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment
- At least 3+ years of calendar management supporting executives
- At least 3+ years of meeting and event planning experience
- Experience setting up video conference and Zoom/Skype technology for meeting users
- Experience planning ahead and managing time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highest level of integrity, honesty, and accountability
- Collaborative self-starter who excels at multitasking
- Extensive experience in handling confidential and sensitive materials with discretion
- Strong communication and organizational skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to constantly changing demands
