About the Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will join a centralized team supporting departments like Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Risk. You will design data pipelines, build scalable models, and deliver insights using a modern data stack to drive smarter business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable analytics data models and transformations in dbt Cloud and Snowflake.
- Develop reliable, reusable datasets and business-ready data products for reporting and decision-making.
- Improve the structure, quality, and maintainability of the analytics engineering ecosystem.
- Define and evolve the semantic layer, core metrics, and business logic.
- Lead efforts to document, standardize, and centralize key business definitions in a data dictionary.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable data solutions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to drive decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through analysis.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and pipelines.
- Contribute to AI-powered analytics and data enrichment initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on analytical experience in a professional setting.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and transforming large datasets in Snowflake or similar warehouses.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills using tools like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience with data transformation and modeling tools like dbt.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Experience using generative AI tools.
- Ability to integrate or adopt AI tools in day-to-day tasks.
