About the Role

CloudKitchens transforms underutilized properties into smart kitchens to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery, making food more affordable, higher quality, and convenient. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on modern commercial kitchen facilities with a mix of hands-on repair, system troubleshooting, and facility support, with potential for growth into leadership roles within a rapidly expanding industry.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites
Support refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems
Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work
Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues
Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors
Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance
Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality
Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions

Requirements

4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(WIC/F)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations

$32.00 - $42.00/hour + Overtime
