About the Role

The Service Bartender supports restaurant and bar operations by preparing high-quality beverages for guests and servers. This role involves both back-of-house drink preparation and guest-facing service, requiring a focus on hospitality, efficiency, and maintaining high standards to create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and maintain guest service quality standards
  • Prepare and present beverages according to recipes and hygiene standards
  • Track wastage and spills accurately
  • Adhere to Smart Serve and AGCO regulations
  • Maintain company grooming and uniform standards
  • Master drink menu knowledge and provide expert recommendations
  • Train F&B General Helpers
  • Cover bartender breaks as assigned
  • Uphold safety rules and standards
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions
  • Manage bar setup, stocking, cleaning, and closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean bar area, including equipment, ice wells, and floors
  • Record sales and process payments via POS system
  • Assume responsibility for cash shortages
  • Order and control bar stock based on par levels
  • Conduct inventory and complete checklists
  • Receive and record food and beverage merchandise
  • Report voids, spillages, and operational discrepancies to management
  • Foster teamwork and assist co-workers

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in full-service bars and restaurants
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a bartending role
  • Previous experience handling cash and POS systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers and Smart Serve certifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain AGCO gaming license
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights, and weekends
