About the Role

At K&L Wine Merchants, we’re passionate about delivering one of the finest wine, spirits, and beer shopping experiences. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team. As the final point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a critical role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy.
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol sales laws and company policies.
• Assist customers with product locations and general questions, connecting them with product specialists when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and sales floor recovery as needed.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction.

• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stock merchandise.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
