About the Role

Work with the Room Service Team to ensure a positive guest experience by serving guests and delivering food and beverage orders according to established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites according to Banquet Event Orders.
• Complete all shift side work.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure quality and enhance future sales.
• Report all communication to immediate shift supervisor.
• Perform all cash handling responsibilities.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Ability to work with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
