About the Role

As an Intern, Private Equity, you will provide assistance in company and market research, financial analysis, valuation and modelling, execution of transactions and portfolio monitoring, and drafting investment committee materials and other internal presentations.

Requirements

  • Excellent academic credentials; a business, economics or scientific degree is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered
  • Prior experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A/leverage finance) or consulting is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and key accounting principles
  • Proactive attitude and sense of initiative
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
  • Knowledge of foreign languages and international experience will be considered an asset
