About the Role
Nurse Technicians at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist serve as invaluable care providers, acting as critical points of contact for patients and their families. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program, with documentation of completion.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance.
- Must possess dexterity of fingers, hands, arms, and feet.
- Must have sensory requirements of speech, touch, vision, and hearing to normal range with corrections.
- All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
