About the Role

As the Lead Integration Engineer, Platform Delivery, you will organize Technology Infrastructure (TI) services including application platform integration, release and environment orchestration, DevSecOps, and environment delivery to support Product portfolio teams. You will lead activities around planning, requirement analysis, solution alternatives engineering, and implementation coordination for cloud or on-premises application platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing application platforms for optimal operations.
  • Analyze new application system requirements to identify integration opportunities for the latest technology and application patterns.
  • Perform market research, conduct Proof of Concepts, and recommend solution alternatives or improvements based on Product portfolio needs and application platform uniqueness.
  • Technically plan and direct TI activities in collaboration with TI DevSecOps & Environment Automation, TI Engineering, TI Infrastructure Operations, and vendor teams to deliver the Technology Infrastructure solution.
  • Lead design walkthroughs and operational readiness reviews of new systems/application platforms to ensure compliance with security, availability, performance, BCP/DR, and other Teachers’ standards/strategies.
  • Promote DevSecOps, support CI/CD pipelines, optimize release delivery agility, design fit-for-purpose environment strategy, and deliver automated services.

Requirements

  • Framework level knowledge of delivery and operational approaches: Waterfall/Iterative SDLC, Agile/Traditional Project Management, Portfolio-Product Lifecycle, IT Service Management.
  • Familiarity with roles and processes in agile product delivery and DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with ITSM roles and processes including Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Change, CAB, and L1/L2/L3 Supports.
  • Design level knowledge of system architecture, cloud (PaaS/SaaS) principles, application system integration, and common investment business function platforms (trading, accounting, financial operations).
  • In-depth knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure integration between application platforms in a multi-cloud/SaaS approach connecting to critical on-premises technology components.
  • 5 years of application development experience with agile product delivery and DevSecOps to design, build, enhance, and support business application platforms.
  • 5 years of operational experience providing L1/L2/L3 application support, governing production changes through CAB, and managing incidents/problems.
  • 5 years of lead experience managing mission-critical development initiatives and/or application upgrade/migration projects.
  • 3 years of Release, Deployment, and Environment Management experience, including scheduling, organizing, and orchestrating releases/non-production environments across multiple Product portfolios.
  • Preferably, some application-level experience with Charles Rivers (CRIMS), SimCorp Dimension (SCD), and FIS Quantum (QTM).
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located.
