About the Role
Visiting Angels of Hanover is seeking compassionate individuals to join our essential care team, providing vital support to local seniors in their homes. This role offers a flexible and secure caregiving career with the opportunity for up to full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
- Issue medication reminders.
- Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Provide mobility assistance, including walking and transfers.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
- Must possess a positive attitude and a proven track record of dependability.
- Must communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
- CNA license preferred, but not required.
