Responsibilities

• Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency for users and internal teams.
• Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions.
• Design and implement features to power Stripe's global 24/7 support operation.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability.
• Build support for initiatives by sharing compelling data and measuring outcomes.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience building production software systems with well-tested code.
• 3 years of experience in front-end and back-end software development.
• 3 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining functional applications including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management and routing systems.
• 3 years of experience integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3 years of experience developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows.
• 3 years of experience writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript.
• 3 years of experience building and maintaining high-throughput API services.
• 3 years of experience improving system performance and operational efficiency.
