About the Role

The Public Relations Specialist will amplify Orca's story across global media, analysts, and the cybersecurity community. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing and Communications, this role manages day-to-day PR programs, coordinates with external agencies, and elevates executive and research visibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for global PR agencies by setting priorities and managing deliverables
• Support end-to-end media relations in US and European markets including drafting press releases, pitches, and briefing documents
• Manage rapid-response opportunities for breaking cybersecurity news
• Translate threat research and vulnerability discoveries into compelling media stories
• Drive thought leadership programs including bylines, contributed articles, awards, and speaking opportunities
• Prepare spokespeople with briefing materials, talking points, and media training
• Track, measure, and report on PR performance and coverage quality
• Coordinate PR support for product launches, funding announcements, and industry events
• Collaborate cross-functionally with content, demand gen, product marketing, and analyst relations teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of PR experience in B2B technology, specifically cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise software
• Experience running PR programs across US and European markets
• Proven experience managing PR agency relationships
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify technical topics
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle concurrent programs
• Self-starter mentality suitable for a remote environment
