About the Role

The Junior Analyst is an active member of the Publicis Root: Data & Insights Team, supporting the team to learn data aggregation, analysis, and insight generation. They will assist in monitoring, optimizing, and delivering data-driven recommendations for web and social reports, as well as supporting market research projects. The role involves strategic thinking to identify optimization opportunities and ensuring data accuracy and robustness.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to work with client and account teams to define KPIs and provide strategic support through data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with inter-agency teams to learn various tools and skills.
  • Contribute to analytics projects including report automation, data visualization, tool implementation requirements gathering and documentation, split testing, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Navigate social platforms like Meta and TikTok to extract key campaign data and generate insightful reports.
  • Create dashboards within Looker Studio and Tableau Desktop.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc requests).
  • Assist with designing research projects and market research methodology.
  • Assist with efforts to optimize the client’s digital experience.

Skills

  • Familiarity with Web Analytics/Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Survey Monkey or other market research platforms
  • Familiarity with Meta Analytics, TikTok analytics, and other social platforms
  • Experience with Datastudio, Tableau, PowerBI, Qliksense or similar data visualization tools (a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Passion for data and insights
  • Critical thinking about business and marketing implications of data
  • Ability to present well and build presentations
  • Recently graduated from an undergraduate program (Marketing, Business, Statistics, Analysis, or other related degrees considered an asset)
