About the Role

Acquis is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role supports financial performance analysis, report production, and strategic financial planning initiatives. It offers a recent graduate the opportunity to build a foundation in corporate finance through hands-on training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and analyze financial data from Salesforce and QuickBooks.
• Assist with variance analysis and trend identification to support management decisions.
• Support financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare financial and management reports to communicate performance and insights.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports and create data visualizations for leadership.
• Support the maintenance of capitalization tables and ownership structures.
• Assist in the preparation and calculation of employee compensation, including bonuses and profit sharing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Support system updates and data integrity initiatives for financial systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and support project analysis.
• Support the Controller on special projects related to financial analysis and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Exposure to financial systems through coursework or internships.
• Interest in data visualization and translating financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High degree of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
