About the Role

This role involves embedding within operational teams to identify and resolve manual workflow inefficiencies, reconciliation issues, and tooling gaps. You will leverage your technical expertise to design and ship solutions, often utilizing AI-augmented automation, to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency in a fast-scaling brokerage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with enablement teams including Brokerage Operations, AML/Compliance, Trade Desk, Treasury, and Margin Supervision.
  • Automate high-volume manual workflows end-to-end, including regulatory reporting, reconciliations, and complex plan administration.
  • Advance risk oversight for leveraged offerings by building automated alerts and managing liquidation processes.
  • Partner with the AI agentic workflows team to ensure solutions are secure, auditable, and reusable.
  • Exercise judgment to prioritize high-impact projects in collaboration with leadership and operators.
  • Identify patterns across workflows to provide insights for R&D planning.
  • Communicate findings and opportunities to Engineering and Brokerage leadership.

Requirements

  • Senior software engineer with strong full-stack range.
  • Experience with data pipelines, internal tooling, and AI-augmented workflow automation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with non-engineers and build trust with compliance and trading teams.
  • Bias for action and ability to close loops independently.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and diagnosing complex operational problems.
  • Reuse-first mindset for integrating with existing systems.
