About the Role

Responsible for the operation of the entire floral department, including merchandising, inventory, and financial budgets. Ensures adherence to company standards and policies while promoting optimal sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and attain the Floral Department financial budgets, including sales, gross profit, and shrink levels.
• Order all merchandise and supplies for the Floral Department to meet company standards.
• Manage the overall merchandising of the Floral Department, including product arrangements, displays, rotation, and FTD.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of all floral products to customers.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Observe local market conditions and competitive activity related to the Floral Department and inform store management.
• Ensure the delivery of floral arrangements upon customer requests.
• Accurately fulfill all customer orders and deliveries.
• Hire and train all Floral associates in accordance with corporate and state policies and procedures.
• Schedule staff to satisfy business needs.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate and state sanitation and safety regulations.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of all fresh flowers and live plants.
• Provide a high level of customer service and courtesy at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience Level

• 3+ years of related experience

Education Level

• High School Degree or equivalent

Salary/Compensations

• $19.25- $29.25
