About the Role

Support complex HVAC equipment projects from turnover through execution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer expectations and project profitability. Partner with various internal teams to keep projects moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) and customer satisfaction.
• Support backlog execution, scheduling, and forecasting for projects up to two years in advance.
• Lead the turnover process between equipment sales and equipment order execution.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop engineered equipment submittals.
• Prepare submittals including coil selection, fan selection, and chiller performance verification.
• Evaluate contractual scope of supply and the impact of client-issued bulletins, field directives, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate cross-scope items with project team members.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and final settlement pricing for scope changes.
• Coordinate factory equipment orders for technical and commercial compliance.
• Generate technical content for purchase orders for field-purchased materials.
• Select, order, and track materials and equipment, monitoring logistics and delivery.
• Ensure project documentation meets contract requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate customer training requirements with local service teams.
• Support final project closeout and ensure full payment upon completion.

Requirements

• Own outcomes with accountability, professionalism, and integrity.
• Review drawings, specifications, bulletins, directives, and field changes to translate them into actions.
• Use disciplined problem-solving and continuous improvement to identify risks.
• Work closely with sales, project management, administration, logistics, factory resources, and service partners.
• Follow standardized submittal generation practices and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to align expectations and commitments.
• Balance customer satisfaction with commercial performance.
• Support timely decisions on scope changes and settlement pricing.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of operations management or mechanical engineering experience.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and related HVAC engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects with extensive execution teams.
• Professionalism, cooperation, and persistence in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
