About the Role

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the end-to-end processing of all apparel merchandise, from receipt to stocking on the sales floor and in receiving areas.

Responsibilities

  • Process all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system.
  • Replenish merchandise to the sales floor as required per Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
  • Maintain knowledge of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
  • Unload trucks as needed.
  • Assist with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
  • Keep work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
  • Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
  • Perform tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
  • Make recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
  • Ability to process and organize information including plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
  • Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other outfitters.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
  • Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
  • Seldom/Never sits.
  • Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
