Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, evaluate, train and motivate team members to meet sales quotas and objectives
- Work with NAPA Regional Management and Distribution Center Management to develop, plan and implement programs, promotions, product launches and training programs
- Conduct visits to major customers with sales development specialists
- Participate in various regional sales development activities
- Coordinate the drafting of annual sales plans for representatives, the development of key plans for wholesalers, and the definition of individual sales priorities through the analysis of available sales data
- Review and follows up on weekly reports from Sales Development Specialists
- Monitor supplier performance levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in automotive, distribution, or wholesale environments.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to recruit, train, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic thinking and business planning capability.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
