About the Role

The Strategy & Operations team is seeking an Associate to reduce fraud costs and develop solutions to protect the platform. This role will focus on creating strategy and executing goals to decrease Merchant fraud, acting as a key contact for understanding merchant behavior indicative of fraud. Responsibilities include investigating fraud cases, brainstorming long-term solutions, and balancing user experience with fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement DoorDash’s strategy in Merchant fraud.
  • Deliver direct business impact to DoorDash.
  • Analyze fraud vectors across DoorDash's platform.
  • Complete end-to-end analysis to identify bad actors and improve user experience.
  • Influence and engage across the company, partnering with product, engineering, analytics, and cross-functional teams.
  • Establish goals and build strategic programs.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to run tests and reduce fraud while accelerating growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, bizops, investment banking, analytics or related experience.
  • High-growth tech experience preferred.
  • Experience leading large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel required.
  • Bachelor degree required.
