  • Provide floor-level support for assembly, test, and validation activities, including root cause analysis.
  • Lead electrical assembly and wiring of builds.
  • Interpret and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Install, route, and terminate cable harnesses, power distribution panels, and control system wiring.
  • Coordinate with mechanical assembly teams on wire management and interface hardware.
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures.
  • Support functional checkout of power distribution, control circuits, and network communications.
  • Operate bench test equipment and interpret results.
  • Document test results and non-conformances.
  • Participate in failure analysis on field returns.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing electrical test fixtures and jigs.
  • Write and maintain work instructions for electrical assembly tasks.
  • Manage and maintain complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) and process routings.
  • Collaborate with supply chain on BOM accuracy and inspection criteria.
  • Lead cross-functional NPI efforts for seamless transition from prototype to production.
  • Partner with engineers to evaluate manufacturability and standardize assembly processes.
  • Participate in design reviews to identify producibility and testability gaps.
  • Oversee ECRs and ECOs; track wiring changes and maintain BOM accuracy.
  • Contribute to facility layout planning, tooling design, and capacity modeling.
  • Support capital planning for electrical test equipment and production tooling.
  • Mentor and support electrical technicians during production ramp.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Familiarity with VFDs, servo drives, and associated wiring practices.
  • Understanding of wire harness fabrication, cable management, and connector termination standards.
  • Proven experience across mechanical and electrical system manufacturing, including mobile or large-scale machinery.
  • Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Deep understanding of process documentation, quality standards, and configuration management practices.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other parametric CAD tools.
