About the Role
At Trader Interactive, we are building the next generation of consumer data products with AI at the core. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to help shape our AI initiatives, translating complex consumer data needs into scalable and robust infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, cost-effective cloud architecture using technologies like Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Contribute to product discovery by benchmarking approaches and validating assumptions with data.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using DAGs, Databricks, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake.
- Optimize performance and relevance through query optimization, caching, and schema design.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Implement monitoring and logging for system health and conduct performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate across teams to align engineering decisions with product strategy and business cases.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, cloud development, and AI frameworks.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with data governance practices and handling of private or sensitive consumer data.
