About the Role
The Fraud team is seeking a Strategy & Operations Sr. Associate to minimize fraud costs and develop solutions to protect the platform. This role will focus on creating strategy and achieving goals related to reducing Dasher fraud, investigating fraud cases, and identifying long-term solutions. The position aims to balance user experience with security against malicious actors.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement DoorDash’s strategy in Dasher fraud.
- Analyze fraud vectors across DoorDash's platform to identify malicious actors and improve user experience.
- Partner with product, engineering, analytics, and cross-functional teams to establish goals and build strategic programs.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to run tests aimed at reducing fraud and accelerating growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related fields; high-growth experience preferred.
- Interest in operating in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.
- Experience contributing to large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets) are required.
- Ability to consider multiple perspectives and communicate them effectively to drive understanding and alignment.
