About the Role

Swickard Auto Group is seeking experienced Parts Managers for their luxury and import brand dealerships in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is crucial for maintaining high-performing service operations by ensuring efficient parts management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all parts department operations, including inventory, staffing, vendor relationships, and daily workflow.
• Drive parts department profitability by managing gross profit, fill rates, inventory turn, and obsolescence.
• Develop and hold accountable a parts team, fostering capability, accuracy, and consistent execution.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Manage manufacturer and vendor relationships to optimize parts availability, warranty compliance, and program participation.
• Partner with service management to align parts supply with service demand, minimizing delays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, cycle counts, and bin organization.
• Ensure compliance with all manufacturer parts programs, warranty processes, and return procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of parts manager experience in a franchised dealership.
• Strong command of parts department financials (fill rate, gross profit, inventory turn, obsolescence management).
• Luxury or import brand experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and lead a parts team.
• Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Comfortable with DMS platforms and manufacturer parts ordering systems.
• Clear communicator who works effectively with service managers, advisors, and technicians.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
