About the Role

We are seeking native English (United States) speakers to participate in the Gardenia Speech Collection project, aimed at gathering speech recordings to enhance voice assistant technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Record short wake-up phrases and scripted utterances.
  • Follow provided guidelines for recording.
  • Upload a short sample voice recording for accent screening.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be born and live in the United States.
  • Be a native speaker of English (US) from any region.
  • Be able to use a mobile phone for the project.
  • Be able to use a wired headset or the device microphone for recording.
  • Have access to a quiet indoor environment for recordings.
  • Pass initial accent screening.
