About the Role
The Lead F&B Counter Server delivers outstanding guest service while efficiently operating the POS, preparing and selling food and beverage items, and maintaining a clean, well-organized service area. This role serves as a trainer and mentor, ensuring all team members follow food safety standards, service procedures, and training guidelines while supporting daily operations and assisting other outlets as needed.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates exceptional guest service skills when selling F&B items to either guests or Team Members and informs guests of casino facilities and their location.
- Continually operates cash register and accepts payment for F&B product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change.
- Is always extremely responsive to guest’s questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation, items on sale and availability of various F&B products.
- Continually up-sells F&B products offered.
- Always ensures that assigned area is kept orderly and continually cleans and sanitizes all work and guest areas.
- Always takes a proactive approach in ensuring that food handling procedures are followed accurately.
- Acts as the F&B trainer and continuously assists team members with on-boarding and training regiments.
Requirements
- Previous Food & Beverage experience.
- Previous experience working in a leadership role.
- Strong cash-handling and communication skills, including the ability to accurately ring in orders and settle checks on a Point of Sale system while correctly counting money and making change.
- Ability to speak English.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.
