About the Role
As a Casino Cashier, you will be at the forefront of our electrifying atmosphere, delivering unparalleled guest service with every exchange. You will handle large volumes of cash, convert chips into cash, and cash out electronic gambling machine vouchers, serving as the heartbeat of our casino floor.
Responsibilities
- Handle large volumes of cash and multi-task in an accurate, honest, and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding appropriately to guest questions and practicing problem-solving aptitude.
- Ensure all guest transactions are accurate and efficient.
- Complete transactions including accurately counting and redeeming gaming chips.
- Redeem gaming vouchers from slot machines.
- Process check to cash transactions.
- Create new guest accounts.
- Print and pay out credit card cash advances.
- Issue and consolidate guest counter checks (markers).
- Exchange foreign currency.
- Process slot jackpot payouts.
- Redeem sports book tickets.
- Perform continual cash handling, cashiering, and counting.
Requirements
- Exemplary guest service skills and the ability to interact in a positive manner with the public and all related departments.
- Complete internal training on all 4 banks: Main bank, Kiosk bank, Chip bank, and General Cashier Bank.
- Perform basic math skills.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.
