About the Role

The Manager, Delivery Lead coordinates and enables predictable delivery of outcomes within a pod or defined initiative workstream. This role focuses on execution, turning priorities into clear delivery plans, maintaining delivery rhythm, and providing transparent tracking and communication for timely decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end delivery execution for a pod or defined workstream, translating commitments into clear sprint/release plans, milestones, and checkpoints.
  • Facilitate delivery cadence and discipline (planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups as needed), ensuring transparency and consistent follow-through.
  • Track delivery progress and health (milestones, risks, dependencies, blockers) and escalate early with clear options when scope, timing, or quality are at risk.
  • Coordinate dependencies across pod roles and adjacent teams to reduce delays and rework; support timely issue resolution through collaboration.
  • Support operational readiness by ensuring delivery includes appropriate testing, release planning, and transition considerations.
  • Partner with the Pod Owner to provide reliable delivery visibility for stakeholders (status, risks, decisions required).
  • Contribute to a collaborative, learning-oriented delivery culture aligned with ways of working and IGM values.
  • Participate in relevant chapter activities by sharing lessons learned and adopting common delivery standards, tools, and templates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7 years of experience in technology delivery or comparable execution roles.
  • Agile/lean delivery knowledge (planning cadence, ceremonies, and iterative delivery).
  • Delivery coordination skills (planning, tracking, milestone management, and reporting).
  • Dependency and issue management through collaboration and timely escalation.
  • Experience within the financial services industry, including banking, wealth management, insurance, or asset management environments.
  • Experience working with or supporting delivery involving: Salesforce, SAP Data Platform (including SAP data management and analytics capabilities), Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working in a product operating model or pod-based delivery environment.
  • Proven success working with geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams, coordinating across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PSM) is considered an asset.
