Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.
- Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers.
- Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Collect and return all payments as required.
- Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned.
- Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed.
- Ensure delivery logs are completed as required.
- Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
- Take only safety courses and other classes as needed.
- Report all moving violations to management.
- Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience.
- Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
- Experience in a warehousing environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills.
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
- Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions.
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required.
