About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager in Technology banking within Specialized Industries as part of Commercial Banking. This role serves as an expert advisor for complex loan and financial solutions for Mid-Corporate clients, requiring strategic leadership and industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert advisor to lead highly complex and substantial cash flow and real estate loans and certain other industry specific solutions with Mid-Corporate clients.
  • Analyze financials, present to clients, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Strategically lead and resolve for full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to Mid-Corporate clients.
  • Engage product organizations to develop client specific solutions.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions.
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Mid-Corporate Relationship Management company wide strategies.
  • Strategically lead all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, and represent the company externally.
  • Act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues.
  • Review, understand and offer the full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Keep information current in relevant systems such as Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.
  • Cultivate relationships through your existing network.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.

Skills

  • Familiarity with the Technology Sector
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients and partnerships with internal teams
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

Education Level

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required
  • Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required.
