About the Role
Horizon Media is seeking a strategic leader to translate client goals into innovative media solutions, focusing on performance-based strategies and analytics. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership, overseeing strategic planning, managing client relationships, and leading a team to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow client brands.
- Ensure strategic consistency across plan development and implementation, focusing on performance-based media and analytics.
- Collaborate with executive-level leadership on strategic marketing approach.
- Provide high-level strategic insights from campaign reporting across all channels.
- Apply and leverage attribution models to build media recommendations and optimize campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of internal and external analytics tools.
- Oversee the development of strategic frameworks for quarterly plans.
- Lead the team's understanding of client businesses and uncover motivations/needs.
- Seek innovative media solutions and evaluate client business health via relevant metrics.
- Ensure strategic alignment across all channels and teams for an integrated approach.
- Set vision and direction for clients based on needs and goals.
- Anticipate problems and proactively address them to meet client strategic goals.
- Manage agency revenue and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Business Solutions Team.
- Understand client contracts, support development and renegotiation, and prepare contract proposals.
- Partner with EVP on staffing needs and plans.
- Ensure collaboration with internal Horizon teams to ensure tasks are within contract scope.
- Be responsible and accountable for all plans and deliverables.
- Advance client relationships by maintaining positive rapport and championing trust.
- Develop and maintain rapport with senior-level clients.
- Tap into Horizon resources and collaborate with partners to offer holistic business solutions.
- Maintain trust and partnership across the direct team and organization.
- Ensure the team anticipates client requests and guides troubleshooting.
- Manage client expectations around timelines and deliverables.
- Negotiate and develop client contracts, ensuring profitability and identifying growth opportunities.
- Elevate situations to executive leadership when necessary.
- Act as the client's most valued partner, providing POVs and serving as a trusted voice.
- Participate in Horizon department-wide conversations and plans.
- Ensure an inclusive environment for team members.
- Provide ongoing, real-time performance feedback to Director/VP.
- Guide team in setting goals and professional development timelines.
- Ensure team members have challenging projects and opportunities to learn new skills.
- Ensure team members have the support needed to achieve development goals.
- Take an active role in conversations around staffing needs.
- Promote the work of team members and set a positive team environment.
- Proactively take part in continued learning opportunities.
- Maintain active knowledge of industry trends by attending conferences and events.
- Use industry knowledge to influence and innovate for clients and internal teams.
