About the Role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the GeForce NOW R&D Team. This role involves maintaining and optimizing infrastructure, supporting and improving CI/CD processes, and enhancing observability for content-related services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, and improve performance by addressing bottlenecks.
- Manage tools and enable automations for redundant manual workflows via Gitlab, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.
- Improve monitoring and observability mechanisms in all aspects of content services.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce operational overhead.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and identify and resolve content-related service issues to ensure systems operate flawlessly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, AWS and ELK stack.
- Administrator-level knowledge of both Linux and Windows systems.
- Proven Python programming skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design.
- Good social skills, effective verbal and written communication.
- Intermediate/upper-intermediate technical English.
- Experience working in distributed international teams.
- Self-motivation, engagement, openness, integrity, ability to learn and develop.
