About the Role
The Sales Solution Architect will drive growth by demonstrating software capabilities, solving complex business problems for clients, and managing technical sales motions. This role balances technical expertise with strong communication skills to support sales representatives, respond to RFPs, and deliver impactful product demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technical and functional RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Conduct virtual and live product demonstrations for clients and prospects
- Develop and contribute sales enablement tools, videos, and presentations
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of the product portfolio
- Perform regular webinars for new product releases
- Build proof of concept tools and demonstration materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Professional Services
- Consult with internal teams to gain best practice insights and technical awareness
- Coordinate with Proposal Managers to ensure successful deal outcomes
- Travel up to 25-30% of the year for client meetings, trade shows, and team events
Requirements
- Proven success in software or hardware sales, account management, or product management
- Strong writing skills for RFP responses and content creation
- Proficiency in public speaking for demonstrations and webinars
- Ability to interpret SOC reports and explain technical hosting, security, and disaster recovery concepts
- Experience working independently and within dynamic team environments
- Ability to configure software and set up data for effective demonstrations
