About the Role

Select candidates would be able to show their ability to demonstrate software or hardware Sales success based on performance/capabilities/company success at prior jobs, or in related experiences. Other tracks may apply such as Account Management, Product Management, Professional Services, Training, etc., and those with a desire to solve problems, serve clients and prospects, and convert clients from not-so-great experiences to much better ones on the CounselLink platform.

Responsibilities

  • Enjoy working independently.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with computers, SaaS applications, and other software.
  • Be comfortable with AI and compliant with LexisNexis AI policies.
  • Respond to RFPs (writing intensive).
  • Perform public-facing virtual and live demonstrations.
  • Solve problems.
  • Work well in a team setting, contributing to process improvements.
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Support detailed demonstration of product capabilities and benefits through deep technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
  • Perform regular Webinars for new CLM and ELM releases to internal and external audiences.
  • Effectively communicate solution and architecture to clients and relevant third parties in speaking and writing.
  • Build proof of concept tools and demonstration materials.
  • Perform Product Release trainings to internal and external clients.
  • Learn about current and new products by attending relevant trainings and meetings.
  • Interact with Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management, Professional Services, and other Departments to influence product direction.
  • Partner with Solution Architect team to determine Product and Market thought leaders on maximizing trade show exposure and industry opportunities.
  • Learn and develop new ways to represent the product portfolio through speaking engagements, partner events, industry events, trade shows, and client/prospect meetings.
  • Expect up to 25-30% of the year for business travel for meetings, client/prospect calls, and events.

Requirements

  • Goal is to increase sales by solving business problems for customers and prospects.
  • Solve problems by selling services or software.
  • Understand supported software within the context of the Customer Experience.
  • Communicate and demonstrate how to use, configure, and set up data for products.
  • Self-start and work within a dynamic team as an individual and team contributor.
  • Develop and contribute videos, presentations, and other Sales Enablement tools.
  • Understand the nature of SaaS software and its underlying technologies.
  • Read and interpret SOC reports, grasp ramifications of controls, and explain technologies to customers.
  • Consult with others to understand practical use perspectives of software, gaining best practice insights and technical awareness.
  • Understand how each product impacts customers' lives from system integrations to reporting.
  • Partner with sales representatives and Proposal Management to respond to Technical/Functional RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
  • Translate knowledge into written responses, building upon existing knowledge and creating new responses.
  • Coordinate with a dedicated Proposal Manager for RFx activities.
  • Writing samples may be requested.
