About the Role
OEM Logistics, LLC is experiencing rapid growth and is searching for Supplier Specialists with a passion for manufacturing and aerospace to join their team. The Supplier Specialist position is a full-time role requiring frequent local travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop a partnership relationship with assigned suppliers to meet customer requirements.
- Manage supplier Open Order Reports to minimize risk and improve delivery.
- Manage delivery performance trends, initiate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate and drive timely closure of corrective actions.
- Work with problematic sub-tiers to improve communication and establish production commitments.
- Facilitate cross-functional department communication to prevent delays.
- Provide written communication on mission-critical parts and delivery performance.
- Track delivery performance trends, initiate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform periodic local travel.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment motor vehicle history check.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs required.
- Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.
