About the Role
As a Senior Accountant (Accounts Receivable) at Anderson Center for Autism, you will oversee critical revenue and billing functions across a diverse portfolio of programs. Your work will ensure the financial health of the organization while supporting services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families served. Responsibilities
- Oversee agency-wide accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing across various revenue sources.
- Supervise and support Accounts Receivable staff, providing guidance and ensuring efficient billing and collection activities.
- Monitor billing processes and revenue cycle performance to maximize collections and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Oversee cash receipt activity, assist with collection efforts, and resolve outstanding receivables.
- Collaborate with program leaders and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of documentation, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Perform and review reconciliations of accounts receivable and revenue-related accounts.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial and productivity reports.
- Contribute to monthly and year-end closing processes by preparing workpapers and account analyses.
- Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, and financial control strengthening.
- Support annual financial audits, cost report preparation, and other required fiscal reporting activities.
- Work closely with Finance leadership on special projects and process improvements.
- Use accounting expertise to help ensure financial resources for high-quality services.

- Support agency audits, reporting requirements, and financial initiatives as assigned.
- Adhere to all agency policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and fiscal procedures.

- $71,950.00 - $77,150.00 annually
