About the Role
LevelBlue is seeking a Consultant in Security Advisory for their EMEA HQ in the City of London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with cybersecurity experience to develop their careers within a growing professional services team. You will join a team that delivers challenging client projects in an environment that balances autonomy with senior support, emphasizing learning and professional development. The Security Advisory team specializes in advising senior and executive management on strategy and tactics in governance, risk, security and resilience maturity, and business and technical security architecture. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex technical work, client interaction, and contributing to team knowledge growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Security Advisory services to clients as part of a team.
- Liaise with client representatives and team members to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Meet with clients to understand their business and needs, advising on security.
- Contribute to methodologies and collaborate with colleagues to meet client requirements.
- Develop client engagement strategies, information collection methods, and analysis of client environments and procedures.
- Develop capabilities through instructor-led and self-guided training, working towards company-funded security certifications.
- Work in compliance with LevelBlue policies, including risk management and completion of mandatory training.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years in a Cyber/Information Security role.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills with a proactive attitude.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation skills, including the ability to present basic technical matters clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and physical locations.
- Flexibility to travel.

- Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27k series)
