- Partner with project and client leads to understand upcoming demand, highlight trade-offs, and shape resourcing decisions early.
- Re-prioritize and re-staff in real time as projects evolve.
- Maintain a clear, current view of who's working on what, who's available, and where capability gaps are emerging.
- Develop and maintain capacity models, utilization reporting, and forecasts.
- Translate vague asks into concrete next steps, named owners, and agreed dates.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in resourcing, capacity planning, or workforce planning is a plus, ideally in professional services, consulting, or another project-based environment.
- A track record of staffing project-based work, matching skills, seniority, and development needs against project requirements is an asset.
- Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders, providing data-backed recommendations, and influencing decisions at the leadership table.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining capacity models, utilization reporting, and resourcing forecasts in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Strong experience with resource management tooling (e.g. Float, Runn, Kantata, or similar).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Proven habit of using AI to accelerate your work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
