About the Role

KEPL is seeking a Business Manager to support internal operations, focusing on team coordination, recruitment, employee experience, and operational execution. The role involves working closely with the Portfolio Manager to enhance team efficiency, manage priorities, and foster a high-performing environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges and supporting people.

Responsibilities

• Support the Portfolio Manager in daily operations, planning, prioritization, and follow-ups.
• Manage team standards and processes, including meetings, action items, timelines, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Coordinate recruiting operations, including candidate tracking, interview scheduling, feedback collection, onboarding logistics, and communication with recruiting teams.
• Support employee onboarding, training coordination, team integration, and ongoing employee experience.
• Manage and improve employee workload balance and internal communication.
• Organize team events, offsites, knowledge sharing sessions, and culture building initiatives.
• Assist with headcount planning, seating, equipment, access requests, and other operational needs.
• Build and maintain internal systems, dashboards, trackers, and documentation to improve transparency and execution.
• Partner with internal functions such as HR, legal, compliance, finance, technology, and facilities to ensure smooth team operations.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects to help the team scale effectively.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required, preferably in STEM, business, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in finance or a related field.
• Experience in business operations, chief of staff, project management, recruiting operations, strategy, consulting, or similar roles is preferred.
• Experience in trading is a plus.
• Proficiency with GenAI tools, Microsoft Office suite, and Jira (or similar productivity tools).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with technical, research, and business teams.
• Open minded and willing to learn.
• Ability to operate independently, identify problems, and proactively communicate and drive solutions.
