About the Role
Oversee technology financial planning, procurement, and asset lifecycles. Act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance, managing technology spend, sourcing, vendor management, and cost-saving initiatives. Assist with SaaS administration, security and ISO-compliance, and IT organization support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Hardware and Software Asset Management, tracking physical assets, managing procurement lifecycles, and auditing software licenses.
- Forecast technology spend and manage the IT budget, including budget accruals and cost tracking.
- Track, control, and optimize IT asset spend across the full lifecycle to minimize waste and maximize return on IT investments.
- Lead hardware and software procurement and renewals, assist with contract negotiations, and manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee the resale or recycling of outdated IT equipment, including data destruction.
- Own asset management and systems related to asset management and procurement.
- Assist with administration and management of specific enterprise applications.
- Support the IT team and staff with hardware repairs and vendor support, including management of support agreements and vendor SLAs.
- Conduct security reviews and manage ISO-related tasks in conjunction with Security and Audit teams.
- Track internal vendor security and maintain IT asset management policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Procurement, or IT Operations.
- Experience in budget forecasting and managing IT spend.
- Experience working directly with Finance departments.
- Proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage software renewals.
- Proven ability to execute cost-saving initiatives.
- Technical background with experience administering enterprise applications.
- Experience managing hardware lifecycles.
- Experience applying Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices.
- Working knowledge of IT security and ISO-compliance standards.
- Experience supporting device and system management for Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.
- Ability to work independently.
