About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic retail associate to work at the retail counter and provide excellent service to all our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform various sales and customer service activities to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Use a computerized point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding postal products, services, and delivery.
- Process financial transactions (cash, checks, debit, and credit card payments).
- Receive, sort, and sequence mail.
- Apply physical effort to handle mail weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lb).
- Place merchandise on display.
- Ensure inventory control and merchandising.
Requirements
- Customer service experience in a retail environment.
- Sales experience is an asset.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment test, security investigation, vision and driving test administered by Canada Post, and an interview.
