About the Role

The Banking and Capital Markets (B&CM) Audit practice is a market-leading team of 650 experts serving a diverse portfolio of global banks, brokers, challenger banks, and FinTechs. As a Manager, you will lead teams to deliver high-quality audits, gain deep business insights, and engage directly with internal and external stakeholders while benefiting from extensive professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-location teams to deliver high-quality audit work from planning to completion.
  • Review financial statements to ensure compliance with PwC and regulatory standards.
  • Build meaningful relationships and provide visible challenge during audits.
  • Lead the completion of complex or judgemental audit work, including data analysis and articulation of findings.
  • Manage financial and resource aspects of audit engagements with a commercial approach.
  • Support team technical and personal development through purposeful coaching and clear communication.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant / ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualification or international equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
  • High level of experience with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
  • Highly skilled in using international standards on auditing.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing complex audits.
  • Ability to communicate complex audit matters clearly to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide knowledgeable challenge to senior clients on industry topics.
  • Dedication to self-development and innovation in a digital environment.
