About the Role

We are seeking a Field Marketing Director to design and execute impactful in-person experiences that drive pipeline growth, enhance customer relationships, and establish Bretton as a leader in the compliance conversation. This is a foundational role where you will create the event strategy, build operational processes, and develop playbooks for a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the field marketing calendar, ensuring presence at key industry events and coordinating with field trips and executive experiences.
  • Partner with the Partnerships team to build Bretton’s brand recognition as the Leading Compliance AI Platform.
  • Drive pipeline and revenue by designing targeted prospect events and collaborating with Sales on pre- and post-event outreach.
  • Develop customer and prospect relationships by hosting key stakeholders at events.
  • Lead event creation, production, and logistics, developing playbooks throughout the process.
  • Manage a significant budget, including vendor negotiations, onsite execution, and staffing.
  • Extend event impact by collaborating with the Marketing Team on post-event deliverables like video, photography, and content.
  • Rigorously measure success, tracking engagement, pipeline attribution, and cost efficiency to inform future event strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of owning and executing B2B field marketing events that yield measurable results.
  • History of creating experiences that deliver business outcomes and generate pipeline.
  • Experience building a field marketing motion from the ground up, with developed playbooks.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales and Partnerships on account targeting, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ability to blend creativity with operational rigor, including vendor management, event registration, post-event workflows, and metrics tracking.
  • Comfort working with senior executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactive, scrappy, and collaborative working style with a desire to build a category-defining product.
  • Strong network of event industry contacts, including venues, production agencies, and AV partners.
  • Experience with the financial crime or compliance industry (Bonus Points).
  • Experience producing events for bankers (Bonus Points).
