About the Role
In the Bell Media team, you will contribute to creating and distributing the best Canadian and international content across digital media, television, radio, and outdoor display platforms. You will join a team of passionate and motivated innovators who overcome obstacles and expand the reach of entertainment that Canadians love. Responsibilities
- Produce captivating, creative, informative, and entertaining interviews, demonstrations, and broadcast segments for broadcast and social media channels.
- Research and secure the best guests.
- Find the best video and audio clips, as well as images, to support broadcast segments or create compelling stories.
- Prepare in-depth research on a wide range of topics for hosts.
- Write engaging and factual scripts, segment introductions, and social media posts.
- Build relationships with Canada's diverse cultural communities to ensure the show reflects the overall Canadian reality and experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a segment producer (at least one year).
- Experience in producing daily news and reports.
- Strong editorial judgment.
- Proven ability to research and secure guests.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience working in a live broadcast environment.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining focus and composure.
- Experience writing excellent television broadcast scripts and social media/digital content.
- Exceptional research skills.
- Exceptional ability to use video and audio clips to support the subject matter and news coverage.
- Ability to work effectively and independently.
- Positive attitude is essential.
- Willingness to work early mornings and shift work.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
