About the Role

Planners are the strategic drivers of our product teams, shaping the inventory and financial strategy behind every product. Interpreting and balancing current sales, inventory analysis, financial goals, and emerging trends, our Merchandise Planners build the strategies that maximize our product success and profitability. Planners forecast future product performance, establish sales strategies across domestic, international, and e-commerce channels, and strategically manage our inventory around the world. This role will support our EMEA planning business and be located at our Regional Head Office in London, England.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales and margin for assigned departments by delivering analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with the buying team to research the global market and build profitable financial plans.
  • Forecast product distribution strategies by analyzing sales data and inventory levels across channels.
  • Present selling and inventory analysis, performance-to-plan results, and strategies to senior leadership.
  • Manage inventory by reconciling receipts and recommending chase or markdown/promo actions.
  • Build reports and analysis for reviewing color selling, size selling, channel, pricing, and other mid-level analysis.
  • Conduct site walks to ensure assortment accuracy, pricing, and product presentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Excel (Power BI is a plus)
  • Passion for A&F Co. brands and the role
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to thrive in team-based settings and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Desire to take on responsibility for managing a portion of a multi-billion-dollar business
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence communicating with senior-level leaders
  • Ability to balance analytical capability with an interest in the creative process
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
